CAREERS

Dermatologist

Air Force dermatologists provide both direct and consultative care as a specialist for diseases of the skin, hair and nails. A mix of both medical and surgical dermatology exists in both hospital and modern clinic settings. Many centers have NBUVB and laser capabilities. You'll have valuable input for diseases of military importance like pyoderma, eczema and tinea, as well as smallpox, anthrax and leishmaniasis, if the need arises. There are also opportunities to teach dermatology to medical students, interns and residents at several graduate medical education centers and some unique opportunities to participate in humanitarian missions to underserved areas of the world. Air Force dermatologists serve both in the United States and overseas. PAY CHART
